Upcoming events this week

Monday, July 8

Gabi’s Olympic Cards and Comics – 4230 Pacific Ave SE, Lacey, WA 98503 – 6 p.m.

Star Wars Destiny: Spark of Hope Release Draft

Please join us for our Spark of Hope Release Draft.

This is a great opportunity to bring in some new blood. If you have never played Destiny or if you have never drafted Destiny, don’t be afraid! We have great players who will do their best to help you out.

*It is preferred that players use the Allies of Necessity Draft Kit. If a player doesn’t have one, another player may loan them one. If there are no extra Allies Draft Kits, we will allow players to borrow a Rivals Draft Kit from the store.

Registration Cost: $20 (includes six packs of Spark of Hope)

Prizes: For each registered player there will be $3 store credit added to the prize pot. The prize pot will be split as follows.

  • Less than 8 players – the split will be 60% for first and 40% for second.
  • 8 or more players – the split will be 55% for first, 35% for second, and 10% for third.

Play Format: We will have 45 minutes to draft and build decks as per the limited format specifications.

If there are 6 or more players, we will do 35 minute Swiss rounds until we have one undefeated player. If there are less than six players, we will do a round robin where all players play each other once. If there is a tie, the tied players can split the prize pot or can do a play-off to determine the winner.

Players can add a pack after every three losses. The league will go for six weeks or so—it was lots of fun last time we did it!
